Zlatan Ibrahimovic scores spectacular strike to hit 500 career goals as LA Galaxy lose to Toronto FC

But all the fans will be talking about is Ibrahimovic’s finish, which saw him spin 180 degrees before using the outside of his boot to clip in off the post.

It is possible the Swede may have let his achievement go to his head just slightly as he released an image of himself as Norse god Thor.

And he was involved in a brilliant exchange with a reporter, who revealed had never seen home fans give a standing ovation to an away player’s goal.

Ibrahimovic replied: “It’s not the first time I’ve gotten a standing ovation from the away team.”

Harry Winks ready to revitalise creaking Spurs midfield after long injury layoff
Mauricio Pochettino pointed the finger at his players after Tottenham's loss at Watford, but the FC crew agree he should be pointing at himself. It has been six-and-a-half months since Harry Winks last started a match and 10 months since he last played at his top level with full fitness before November's ankle injury against Crystal Palace.
