Tottenham try to sell tickets to MK Dons fans for relocated Carabao Cup clash with Watford after poor sales

MK DONS supporters can buy tickets for Tottenham’s home Carabao cup clash with Watford as the North London side are struggling to sell them to their own members, according to reports.

Stadium MK became a last-minute venue for the cup game against the Hornets as Spurs’ new stadium hit major delays and their current home Wembley is unavailable.

Spurs Carabao Cup home game with Watford next week will be played at Stadium MKAlamy

Tottenham had been due to move into their new 62,062-seat stadium on the site of the old White Hart Lane last weekend, but the move-in date has been pushed back to at least the end of October.

The Daily Mail claim MK Dons season ticket holders have been told they can buy up to four tickets for next Wednesday’s game and be seated in a designated section in the upper tier.

It remains unclear how many tickets have not been sold for next week’s game, but all Spurs season ticket holders who wanted to attend have their full allocation.

Tickets went on general sale to Tottenham fans on Tuesday, the same they were offered to MK Dons fans.

After the draw, Spurs were given the chance to apply to the Football League to reverse the fixture and play the game at Vicarage Road.

However, after consulting with fans, the club top brass opted to rent 30,500 capacity Stadium MK.

Watford appealed to have the fixture reversed regardless, but the Football League found in favour of Tottenham.

Spurs have confirmed that all three of their Champions League group games will be held at Wembley, the last of which will be against Inter Milan on November 28.
