Crvena Zvezda vs Arsenal

After a poor start to the domestic season, Arsenal went on an unbeaten 7 game run, including their opening 2 games in the Europa League (EL), but lost on Saturday away to Watford (2-1).

Arsenal are likely to treat this competition and match as an opportunity to give some reserve and bench players a run-out. Indeed, Arsenal have a tough away trip to Everton on Sunday lunchtime to think about.

Arsenal have only failed to score once in their last 16 European games and their last 0-0 draw was 28 matches ago in August ’14 away to Besiktas.

Crvena Zvevda have already played 10 games in this season’s EL, losing just once to away to Krasnodar. 5 of those games have been to nil and their impressive defensive record can also be seen in their home league where they have conceded just 2 goals in 12 games.
