This season has been a disaster for Real Madrid, with Copa del Rey elimination meaning their only chance of a trophy rests on the Champions League.

But Ronaldo insists that, a third European triumph on the bounce, would make this campaign a success.

CRASH AND BERN Real Madrid must beat PSG, or it’s the end of the road for Ronaldo, Zidane and Benzema

He added: “Everyone at Real Madrid is is disappointed with the current situation.

“But, if we win the Champions League, everyone will say: ‘What an incredible season, you won the Champions League.'”
